Trichoscypha acuminata is a fruit tree native to west tropical Africa. This plant is extremely rare and only little is known about it. In Africa, the fruits are harvested to be eaten, but also used to make certain drinks. The tree can reach a height of 15-20 meters. It usually does not have a lot of branches. It flowers in clusters, meanly around the main stem.
It is best kept at 18-28 degrees Celsius, but can survive temperatures of 14 to 35 degrees.
